TERMS OF SERVICE
By purchasing a gecko from Tree Critters, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions listed below.
A gecko can be put on HOLD for a minimum 50% of the purchase price and is non-refundable or transferable to another animal. The remaining 50% must be paid in full within 30 days of placing the deposit. Payment plans may be extended to 60 days maximum on a case-by-case basis to be decided between me and the customer. All geckos must be paid in full within 3 payments before they are shipped or picked up.
Shipping is an extra cost at the buyer's expense. The geckos will arrive the next business day. e.g. ship out Monday and will arrive at your door on Tuesday. Please send me a message to get a shipping quote. I will not ship if the weather at either end is not acceptable. I am able to do winter holds but that is to be decided by me and the customers. I will wait until the conditions are good at both ends to ensure the health of the geckos being shipped.
I am not responsible for tail loss during shipping or while a gecko is on hold. Tail loss is out of my control and happens to the best of us. Tail loss does not decrease the value of a gecko so do not ask for a refund or partial refund.
All geckos have a live arrival guarantee. New Caledonian geckos have a 4-day guarantee unless I see that neglect seems possible. Uroplatus only have a live arrival guarantee as they are incredibly fragile and can rapidly decline in health if the environment or care is incorrect. If you do not contact me within one hour of arrival, all health guarantees are voided. The guarantee will credit you another gecko of the same value.
Geckos sold as male or female are guaranteed to be those sexes. Geckos sold as probable male or female are not guaranteed. Babies and juveniles are based on my best guess at pore visibility in New Caledonians and tail shape/cheek freckle in Uroplatus.
I have the right to refuse the sale of any gecko to anyone if I deem that the proper care for the gecko will not be able to be provided by the customer. Please do your research before inquiring or I will be happy to walk you through proper setup and care.
